Popular content producer Timothy Obotuke, nicknamed Sirbalo, believes that the bulk of his skits involve attractive ladies since that is the current trend in the business.

The sketch creator claimed, in an interview with Saturday Beats, “I am merely following the trend. A common selling point for many skit creators is the usage of endowed ladies in their productions.

There are many more skit creators like myself, so I’m not the only one doing it. It wasn’t about women with large posteriors back then. Yet, they are increasingly being used as a selling factor in the skit-making business. It is popular with Nigerians. I simply provide for my audience’s needs.

However, the comic insisted that his real nature is distinct from the personas he plays in skits. We have very different personalities, he declared. Timothy has other interests that are completely at odds with Sirbalo’s persona, but Sirbalo provides the audience with what they want to see and watch.

Sirbalo said that, in contrast to what some might believe, he had worked as a film director and had a long history in the entertainment business.

“I never thought I would get into skit production as I used to be a movie director,” he continued. Being timid made it difficult for me to become a skit creator, and paying for content creation was also difficult. One needs to be consistent, open to feedback from others, and always work to better their skill in order to flourish as a skit creator.
