Nigerian singer and rapper, Emeka Akumefule, popularly known as Blaqbonez, recently expressed his confidence in his abilities as a music video director, asserting that he surpasses TG Omori in this aspect.

During the 16th Headies Awards, both Blaqbonez and TG Omori received nominations in the “Best Music Video” category. Blaqbonez was recognized for co-directing the video for his song ‘Back In Uni,’ while TG Omori received a nomination for directing the video of ‘Bandana’ by Fireboy DML featuring Asake.

The nominations led to debates among their fans and followers on social media regarding their supremacy in the field.

While appearing on Cool FM Nigeria’s Big Friday Show, co-hosted by reality star Tacha, Blaqbonez confidently asserted his directorial prowess over TG Omori.

In response to Tacha’s question about whether he believes he is a superior video director compared to TG Omori, Blaqbonez expressed his self-assured nature. He stated that he doesn’t consider anyone to be better than him in any endeavor. He viewed the question as intriguing and responded, “I believe that I’m one of the most creative human beings, and if I devote myself to a particular field involving creativity, I will excel and become the best. So, the answer is definitely yes. I consider myself better than everybody.”
