The Sabon Garin Nassarawa-Tirkaniya section of the Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State is under a 24-hour curfew.
In a statement, Mr. Samuel Aruwan, the state commissioner for the Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, revealed that the decision was made as a result of a breakdown in law and order that resulted in the deaths of two individuals in an urban gang violence episode.
Security agencies have been told to impose the curfew in the mentioned locality in order to restore order while investigations continue, the man stated.
He urged local residents to closely abide by the curfew, which is effective right away.
